Three covers and lettering commissioned by Pocket Mountains for their series of pocket-sized Scottish city walking guides. It was really nice to do something a bit different and focus on architectural landmarks for these, I drew inspiration from vintage travel posters.
A few more spreads from Being a Ladybird, the picture book I worked on with Wayland books, written by Annabelle Lynch. The third in the Being a Minibeast series follows the life cycle of a Ladybird through the seasons.
The follow up to Being a Bee and Being a Butterfly, this is my artwork for the first spread of Being a Ladybird for Wayland books.
Another personal piece. I’d love to work on some more wildlife illustrations, I’m at my happiest in nature! Using a little more texture than usual in this one.
I enjoyed getting back into some pattern making recently, these were inspired by marsh plants.

I can finally share some spreads from my second picture book, Being a Butterfly! The follow up to Being a Bee, this is the second in a series of four about different mini beasts. This book follows the life cycle of a Holly Blue butterfly. Published by Wayland, it's available now!
My thirteenth cover for the Lady Emily Series! This one featuring the Tower of London. Published by Constable this coming November.
My fourth cover for a Jo Thomas novel. A Winter Beneath the Stars is set in Swedish Lapland. It was great to be able to use a wintery palette for this one! Published by Headline Review, it will be out in December. Title lettering by Kate Forrester.
I forgot to post this at the time but here's my map that was featured inside the YA novel Lily's Mountain that I illustrated the cover for last year. Interesting to work in black and white for a change!
I'm delighted to reveal my cover illustrations for a further seven Sophie Kinsella titles. Following the success of the bestselling My Not So Perfect Life in 2017, I was commissioned to illustrate the main characters for her seven standalone novels. Surprise Me recently topped the UK book charts. Published by Penguin Random House.
I loved working on the Wall Street Journal's Summer Books feature that came out on Saturday in the US. I created a cover and several book 'badges' for the different themed sections.
Very much looking forward to the publication of my second children's book for Hachette in July, Being a Butterfly! It's been months of work and I'll be starting on the third in the series very soon - which minibeast will feature next time?!
